HISTORY of the HIBERNIAN ST. PATRICK'S DAY PARADE

The Ancient Order of Hibernians has sponsored this parade since 1984 - it is always held on St Patrick's Day - to read about the origins of this parade click.

The parade is a family oriented tradition of honoring St. Patrick. It takes place in the Dogtown region of St. Louis City - with the majority of the parade route being Tamm Ave

Festival: All outdoor events and sales close at 6:00PM

COOLERS & BACKPACKS WILL NOT ALLOWED TO BE BROUGHT INTO THE PARADE AND FESTIVAL - Increased Security and Traffic Controls in Place for the 2020 parade similar to the 2019 Parade - Click for Details

GETTING INTO THE PARADE

Every year we get many requests to enter a float or group in the parade. The size of the parade is limited by the city. We give preference to those who have particitpated in the past. As a result there is a waiting list.
